Tips for Photo shoot:

When preparing for your portrait session, it is important to consider what you will being wearing. A factor to consider is the location of the session. Location is important when determining what to wear for the session. Avoid any restricting clothing. Most likely I will be asking you to sit, stand, and move around in various poses. It’s best to be as comfortable as possible. Avoid wrinkly clothing! Try to coordinate with each other, without getting too matchy. It is great to wear “purples and blues” or “browns and tans”, etc. in a complementary way.   Wear natural looking make up, and groom yourself in a natural way.
Be sure to disclose how many people will be in the photographs, as well as the ages of any children. This will be important information for me to have ahead of time as I prepare for your session. Portrait sessions taking place in an outside location will be weather permitting. In case of rain, an alternative date can be determined.

What to expect at your session:

You can expect me to be on the move when photographing little ones. Do not worry if  your young children do not sit and smile for every shot.  Some of my favorite photos I have captured of little ones have been caught while they were moving or playing! I will be reassuring, and helpful in any way I can. I want your portrait session to be enjoyable, not stressful.

What to expect after your session:

After your portrait session, I will go through and get rid of any images of anyone blinking, etc and prepare the rest of the images for editing.  Once your photos are complete, you will be contacted, and you will be able to view them online.  Next, we will set up a time to sit down and discuss your order.  After viewing your images again,  you can then place your order at this time (Payment of 50%  is to be placed at this time).
